Gullible "Jaaason," Rhia whined. "It was an accident!"

Rhia sat on a little stool facing the corner of her room. She shared the room with her cousin, Jason. He'd been given the job of her retainer: keeping her company, teaching her what she'd need to know to become Queen on her seventy-fifth birthday. But most importantly, he was to keep her safe.

He scowled at her from across the room. "You know how important it is to keep your shoulders covered!" he hissed. "You can't have 'accidents' about that!"

"But why? It's just a bir-"

"Quiet!" he snapped, cutting her off. "It's a secret for Queens. If everyone else found out about it, you couldn't be queeGullible by ~RhiaKolareny

Sos'umptu In Her Piety Sos'umptu knelt on the marble floor of the Baenre chapel. She wore a plain black dress, her usual attire. Her black feet were bare, a gesture of piety in the chapel that she held sacred above else in Menzoberranzan. She had been in prayer for hours, beseeching Lolth to bless House Baenre and to raise the Drow race to new heights of glory. She meditated on the ways of the Spider Queen, seeing new depths to her theology and finding ever new insights into her mystery. This was her daily ritual. Not a day went by without Sos'umptu kneeling on the chapel floor to supplicate her goddess.

Contest - Deh' o' Mialhin Shadow Ranger

Deh' o' Mialhin is a young drow female of Mih'Al'Henidraninl family. Ancient Lolth high priestess, she was revoked from her position because spiders, the symbol of Lolth, did never dare to approach her, as if frightened by something.

Renegade, she had to leave the territories under Lolth control when her high prietest weapon, the fangs scourge with file living snake lashes, tried to kill her. Lolth wanted her dead.

She traveled south in the Underdark, alone, and soon discovered she was happier in those half desert lands than she had never been in the crowded Drow cities. She also soon discovered some hided talents in herseContest - Deh' o' Mialhin by #Lolth-Scourge

Xenshai yawned, stopped fiddling with his long braided hair and looked over at his brother. The younger drow looked, in Xenshais' opinion, far too nervous to carry out the orders they had explicitly been given by their mother, the Matron Vikhra. Or maybe it was the other orders he had been given that worried him…
'Jehk'ril, if you're going to going to fidget, you may as well leave' he drawled, a slightly amused smile touching his lips. Jehk'ril turned and frowned, shaking his head vehemently.
'I know what to do' he replied, a hint of a tremor to his voice.
'Hmmm. And you are sure you are…up to it?'

Everyone is welcome! Whether you wish to submit your work or simply keep up with the largest collection of drow art on DA, join now!

Please include a short message when you join. We love getting to know our members right away!

If you wish to participate in group events, please include your chosen drow House name. You may submit this at a later date, but this will get you added to the House List immediately. ((Note: Houses are currently under reconstruction and as such, currently inactive.))

Greetings!

As a few of you who follow us may know, the admins of Lolth Scourge like to hang out on tumblr as well as DA. That'd be myself, =MoonyIce, and *AzraelEvangeline.

Recently I discovered that there were no drow-centric blogs on tumblr! This of course was a crying shame and couldn't be left alone, so I went ahead and created one! It's only in its early days now so things are still fairly simple but I hope to have it grow and be the premiere source for drow on tumblr! C: I also plan on having its secondary function be to act as LS on tumblr. So future information about contests, etc may be updated there as well as here.

I'll be crossposting some deviations from here to the blog, with credit and links back of course. If any of you decide you'd not like to see your art there, just let us know and we'll avoid your pieces.
